Skydiving course - BASIC course package (NOVA)
Freefall jumps (NOVA jumps) are made from an altitude of 4,000 meters, with a freefall duration of about half a minute to less than a minute. The speed during freefall accelerates to almost 200 km/h! The parachute is opened at an altitude of just over a kilometer, after which the admiring of the scenery while floating on the shadow lasts about 5 minutes.
The freefall skydiving course (NOVA course) is organized by a skydiving training organization approved by the Finnish Aviation Association (SIL). After your first jump, you have the opportunity to continue skydiving and make it a hobby for yourself!
The price of the NOVA course includes one jump, access to jump equipment (up to becoming an independent jumper), and membership in the training parachute club for the rest of the year.
Before the jump, the jumper provides assurance about his or her health condition with a questionnaire and, if necessary, presents a medical certificate. Standard leisure insurance policies do not usually cover so-called speed sports, so it is worth ensuring your own insurance coverage. All participants in the course are required to be members of the Finnish Aviation Association. The SIL membership card, or a receipt for the paid membership fee, must be presented to the instructor on the first day of the course. Important:
Participants in a skydiving course must be at least 15 years old.
For those under 18 years of age, consent from a guardian/trustee is required.
The maximum weight of a person participating in a skydive is 100 kg.
A person performing a skydive must not be under the influence of alcohol.
